Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift

Description:

International Paper is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. The role involves maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $28.98-$37.61, depending on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe daily operations across the plant.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed industrial setting.
• Mechanical and electrical certifications are a plus.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welders, and torches.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends.
• 2nd shift: 3 PM - 11 PM, with a $0.25 shift differential.
