This position reports to the Senior Manager Maintenance and is based in Fort Washington, PA.

What you will do

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, adjusting, repairing, maintaining, and operating packaging and processing equipment supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust manufacturing equipment to improve throughput and efficiency, and manage corrective actions and spare parts
• Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, and non-routine maintenance following safety, environmental, and quality policies
• Participate in 5S activities for maintenance areas
• Assist in developing detailed job task lists for preventative maintenance and planned work
• Support reliability engineering with risk-based analysis and improvement opportunities
• Conduct final and double checks on manufacturing equipment as per procedures
• Accurately complete documentation including SAP transactions and logbooks
• Assist with equipment installation, setup, and startup projects
• Perform and document repairs, startup, and shutdown of equipment following SOPs

Qualifications

What we are looking for

• Associate’s Degree/Certificate in a technical discipline with 4-6 years of experience in a regulated/automated manufacturing environment, or military training in a technical discipline with similar experience, or 10 years of relevant work experience including 4-6 years in such an environment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proven ability to interact with operators, management, and other groups
• Ability to meet physical demands including working in temperature-controlled areas, climbing machinery, working at heights, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in a Pharmaceutical/GMP manufacturing environment
• Previous maintenance experience repairing production equipment
