Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The normal working hours for this role are 3rd shift, Sunday - Thursday from 10:00pm - 6:30am.

Description

The primary purpose of this position is the timely preparation, delivery, and set-up of quality, complex chemical media for Card Production. The role involves current training including curriculum procedures, workstation organization, cleaning, establishing a safe work environment, housekeeping, and maintenance in the production department.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform all work safely in accordance with company policies.
2. Document complex manufacturing steps and verification as per procedures, including media preparation, filtration checks, proper labeling, equipment operation, and media dispense setup.
3. Assist with end-of-lot documentation review for Device History Record and Master Formulary, ensuring compliance with procedures.
4. Report scheduling or availability issues in MES, remain flexible to changes.
5. Ensure equipment calibration and functionality before use, manage repairs, and perform start-up/shutdown procedures.
6. Maintain inventories of lab supplies, follow FEFO for stocks, and participate in new product development and transition.
7. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred (Biology/Chemistry), or
• Associates Degree with 2+ years of wet chemistry/bench work, or
• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.

• At least one year of wet chemistry/bench work preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and lab skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques, GLP/GMP, ISO guidelines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP desired.
