Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service production line equipment, including conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales, and to repair motors and gearboxes. You will work with production leaders to improve efficiency, perform general building maintenance and light electrical tasks, and handle occasional repairs on material handling equipment.

Preferred candidates have PLC experience and at least 3 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly PM, repair and make adjustments to production line equipment such as conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales.
• Maintain, repair and replace motors and gearboxes.
• General building maintenance including light electrical.
• Occasional repairs on material handling equipment.
• Work with production leaders to improve efficiency of equipment and lines.
