Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Auburn, WA is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting.

This role offers a 4am–4:30pm shift Fri-Sun, emphasizes safety, requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience and a technical degree or certificate, and involves reading blueprints and working with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs
• Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility
• Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
• Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
• Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services
• Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements

Job Compensation

Pay: $29.30 - $38.30 per hour
