thyssenkrupp Aerospace is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, perform audits, and coordinate with contractors for complex repairs.

The role requires 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, a technical degree or certificate, and strong reading of blueprints, with a safety-first mindset and solid communication skills.

Job Summary

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities.

Key Accountabilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs
• Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility
• Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
• Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
• Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services
• Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Pay: $29.00 - $36.13 per hour
