Job summary

thyssenkrupp Aerospace in Auburn, WA, is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Qualifications

  • Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
  • 3-5 years experience in an industrial maintenance environment
  • College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings

  • Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility
  • Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
  • Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services
  • Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements

This position has been identified as “safety sensitive” by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws in the state of Washington. Job Description
