Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
  • Support critical coil processing operations, including maintenance of: Coil slitters, Coil packaging lines, Traverse winders, Material handling equipment, Forklifts and related systems.
  • Perform and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Identify potential equipment failures before they impact production and recommend corrective actions.
  • Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired equipment.
  • Complete facility and building maintenance projects as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation.
  • Coordinate with and oversee outside contractors performing maintenance and repair services.
  • Partner with operations teams to improve equipment performance, safety, and productivity.
  • Support Lean manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform all work safely while following company policies and PPE requirements.

In this role, you'll work directly with specialized equipment including coil slitters, coil packaging lines, traverse winders, forklifts, and other material handling systems.
