Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Park City, KS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy machinery on the warehouse floor. You will conduct various facilities maintenance tasks and ensure a clean, safe work area while supporting company Lean initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years in an industrial maintenance environment, a technical degree or certificate, and strong reading of blueprints.

Key Accountabilities:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs.
• Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility.
• Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services.
• Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
