Job summary

HES is a premier national provider of facilities management services focused 100% on educational institutions. The Maintenance Technician will be the on-site maintenance point of contact, performing HVAC, plumbing and electrical checks, routine maintenance, and repairs as needed.

You’ll also prepare facilities for many campus events, including setup and breakdown. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid vacation/holidays

Job Skills / Requirements

In this role, the Maintenance Technician will monitor all aspects of the account, identifying and repairing problems as they arise and will serve as the on-site maintenance point of contact.Other key responsibilities include daily checking of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as well as performing routine maintenance service (change filters, clean coils, lube moving parts, etc.) on these systems and make repairs as necessary. Will be responsible for constructing, repairing and/or replace items specified by the faculty and staff for improving their educational programs. This may include shelving, play/theater props, physical education equipment, etc. Will also make preparations for the many events held on the campus, including set up and break downs.
