Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Hartwell, Georgia, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our 500,000 sq ft plant. You will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, support planned and predictive maintenance, and train on new equipment.

The role is on-site with shift options and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. You will use SAP for parts, work orders, and logging maintenance activity, and contribute to a safe, productive culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1+ years' industrial maintenance experience.
• Or a two-year technical degree completed.

• Execute Planned Maintenance (PM) activities to proactively prevent failures and promote safe and efficient operations.
• Create, revise, and improve parts kits working with Planner to build part kits into SAP.
• Work to reduce unplanned stoppages through effective root cause analysis.
• Provide on-shift electrical and mechanical troubleshooting support to identify and repair technical breakdowns.

Position Summary

Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. As a Maintenance Technician, you will contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team. You will utilize a variety of skillsets including but not limited to electrical and mechanical troubleshooting (motors, PLCs, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical wiring, welding, bearing replacement, and more). You will train on new equipment and aid in the execution of both planned maintenance and predictive maintenance activities.

This position is eligible for a $3,000.00 sign-on bonus.

• Create, revise, and improve parts kits working with Planner to build part kits into SAP.
• Work to reduce unplanned stoppages through effective root cause analysis.
• Provide on-shift electrical and mechanical troubleshooting support to identify and repair technical breakdowns.
• Support a positive and collaborative culture with the expectation that Zero Safety Incidents, Zero Quality Defects, and Zero Preventable Stoppages.
• Utilize our SAP system to properly log maintenance related information including work time, parts issuing, failure logs, and work order notes.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent and 1+ years' industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment.

OR

• A two-year technical degree completed.

• Must be open to all shifts.

The approximate hourly pay range for this position is $33.83 - $38.51 per hour. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance Technician D $33.83, Maintenance Technician C $35.00, Maintenance Technician B $36.17, Maintenance Technician A $38.51. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
