Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of plant systems across facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. You’ll troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment while maintaining a safe work environment.

The position runs on a night shift (7pm–7am) with a rotating weekly schedule and every other weekend off; starting pay is $36.38 per hour with potential to earn more through the Maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment.
• Vocational certificate in Mechatronics.
• 2 year technical degree completed.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
• Electrical work with 120, 220, and 480 volt; troubleshoot motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, pumps, and building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sampling.

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, we’ll count on you to support the maintenance of all plant systems, including facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. You’ll troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment while always working in a safe manner. Our Maintenance Technicians work in a climate-controlled shop and play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across our plant.
