Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Miami, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform regular and preventive maintenance on plant equipment. You’ll collaborate with maintenance and controls teams on TPM optimization and risk assessments to keep operations safe and reliable.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and basic English proficiency. The shift is 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, Monday–Friday.

Our manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, stands as a testament to the pet care industry's excellence. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll provide regular and preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner to all plant equipment. Work collaboratively among the maintenance and controls departments on preventative maintenance optimization and TPM efforts while using a wide variety of tools and equipment. Additionally, you’ll review and actively participate in risk assessments across the plant to ensure top-notch safe working order of equipment throughout our processes.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform required PM checks and report all problems to supervision.
• Learn to confidently operate all production equipment in extrusion and other areas.
• Safely and effectively troubleshoot electrical controls circuits (replacing fuses, resetting overloads, checking for failures on equipment, etc.).
• Address repair needs for building and grounds as needed.
• Utilize WMS and SAP maintenance system for work order functions.
• Maintain record keeping and inventory of spare parts as required.
• Develop training documents and train others.

The current shift option for this role is 11:00PM - 7:30AM Monday-Friday.**

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
• Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Pay: $32.45 per hour

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
