Job summary

Bachoco USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Fort Smith, AR. The role installs, maintains, and repairs machinery and electrical systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

The 2nd shift runs 4:00 pm–3:00 am with a four-day workweek Sunday through Wednesday, plus over-time opportunities and benefit plans including 401K, health, dental, and vision coverage. Pay starts at $20.00–$27.50 per hour, with attendance incentives and shift premiums, and scheduled pay

Qualifications

Four-Day Workweek: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday .

Work Hardening Shift Schedule: 1st Week 4:00 pm to 1:00 am

2nd Week 4:00 pm to 3:00 am

3rd Week on 4:00 pm to 5:00 am

Pay Rate: $20.00 to $27.50/hour (Based on initial Assessment)

Summary: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment to determine cause of malfunction.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Operates power equipment such as scissor lift or forklift to move and install parts, motors, etc. Must pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for O.K. Foods.
