Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Warren, MI to maintain and repair production equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, read blueprints, and coordinate with outside vendors.

This role offers a direct-hire opportunity, a retention bonus, and solid benefits. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Warren, MI | Direct Hire | Up to $24/hr + 12% Shift Premium | M–F, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment Team is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a leading aerospace manufacturing operation in Warren, MI. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and helping keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

Schedule & Compensation

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
• Up to $24/hr + 12% shift premium
• Overtime as needed
• Direct-hire opportunity
• $3,000 retention/sign-on bonus: $1,000 after 90 days and $2,000 at one year
• 80 hours of vacation/PTO, prorated for the remainder of the current year; full annual allotment begins January 1, 2027
• 32 floating holiday hours available from your start date

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, facility equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Inspect equipment, identify root causes of failures, and make necessary repairs or adjustments to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors on equipment and facility repairs as needed.
• Perform maintenance involving industrial production systems, plumbing, controls, welding, fabrication, and hydraulics.
• Recommend equipment or process improvements to increase machine efficiency and uptime.
• Prioritize daily maintenance activities to keep production running safely and efficiently.
• Use hand and power tools, drill presses, measuring equipment, and electrical test equipment such as voltmeters.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and materials after completing each job.
• Work additional hours when necessary to complete repairs and return equipment to service.
• Follow all required safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; aerospace experience is a plus.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Experience with industrial production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, controls, plumbing, welding, and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Basic PLC knowledge.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to safely operate drill presses, hand/power tools, measuring equipment, and electrical test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, schedule-driven manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprenticeship, Associate Degree, or technical/trade certification preferred.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional who can independently troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and production equipment issues and understands the importance of minimizing downtime in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details:

$22.00 to $24.00 per hour
