• Execute preventive maintenance schedules; document work performed and parts used.
• Assist with installations, rebuilds, and calibrations on CNC, Swiss lathe, DMG milling centers, stamping presses, automated equipment, and automated systems (non-operational production use).
• Maintain spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.

Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing) 2nd Shift (Finance)

We are looking for a second shift Maintenance Technician! Job Title: Maintenance Technician, 2nd shift. Department: Production. Reports To: Production Supervisor. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Location: Endicott, NY. Schedule: Full-time, 8-12 hour shifts. Revision Date: January 13, 2026. Pay: $22 - $30/ hr based on experience plus shift premium ($1.00 - $1.50/ hr).

Position Summary

The second shift Maintenance Technician focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine preventive maintenance on production equipment. This role partners with engineering to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Operating machines may occur during testing or verification, but is not a primary function.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of automation equipment and controls.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Manufacturing environment; regular standing, walking, handling tools; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime/weekend work may be required.
