Overview
Shift: Tuesday - Friday 5:30 p.m. – 3:30 a.m.
Rate: $29.55 per hour + $1 per hour shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regard to LOTO and safe work practices.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility.
- Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system.
- Apply expertise in PLCs, conveyors, 3‑phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and related equipment.
- Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to ensure inventory is maintained.
- Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians to elevate their performance while troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Work closely with outside vendors to complete projects within the DCs safely and in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the DC and its operational needs.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or a 2‑year vocational/technical certificate or degree, preferably in a mechanical or electrical application.
- 3‑5 years of related experience.
- Experience with welding, burning, cutting.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and PLC controls.
- Familiarity with DC‑specific specialized software packages (e.g., Crown PM, Gage) and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, and building‑type drawings/schematics.
- Good safety awareness.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with LOTO.
Pay Range
Targeted pay range: $29.55 – $42.90 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on location, experience, and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
