Job summary

The Distribution Center is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for 2B shift (Tue–Fri, 5:30p–3:30a). You will maintain and repair facility equipment, including PLCs, hydraulics, and conveyors, with emphasis on safety and PM documentation.

Starting pay ranges with a $1/hr shift diff may apply based on location and experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, parts forecasting, vendor coordination, and mentoring junior technicians to lift overall performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance and repair.
• Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with LOTO and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA standards and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment, including PLCs and conveyors.
• Document work and PM activities in the asset management system.
• Report spare parts usage to maintenance leadership for inventory control.
• Train junior technicians to improve troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely.

OVERVIEW

Shift: 2B: Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a

Rate: $29.55/hr. + $1/hr. shift dif

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Areas of expertise must include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
• Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and it’s operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment.
• Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO.

Targeted Pay Range: $29.55 - $42.90. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
