Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Lenoxville, PA facility. This 2B shift runs Tuesday through Friday, 5:30 PM to 3:30 AM, with a base rate of $29.55/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential.

The technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment, follow PM standards, and document work in our asset management system. Strong PLC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical drawing literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in a mechanical or electrical field.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Welding, burning and cutting proficiency.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls knowledge.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Familiar with DC-specific software like Crown PM or Gage.
• Experience with LOTO and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems; follow PM standards and document work.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance while troubleshooting assets.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Take on additional duties to support DC operations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system. Areas of expertise must include PLC’s, conveyors, 3 phase electric, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and any other related equipment.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
• Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and it’s operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's Degree - 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment.
• Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO.

Targeted Pay Range: $29.55 - $42.90. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
