Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage is seeking a maintenance technician for a Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:30pm shift with weekend rotations in Iowa. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs and adjustments to conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales, plus motor and gearbox maintenance and light electrical work.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience, and PLC experience is highly valued. Certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC highly preferred.
• Professional certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly PM, repair and make adjustments to production line equipment such as conveyors, case erectors, sealers and scales.
• Maintain, repair and replace motors and gearboxes.
• General building maintenance including light electrical.
• Occasional repairs on material handling equipment.
• Work with production leaders to improve efficiency of equipment and lines.
