Job summary

Direct Customer Solutions is seeking aMaintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to provide mechanical and electrical support across our building and grounds. The role ensures minimal downtime through proactive maintenance of conveyors, pick modules, and related equipment within a climate-controlled warehouse.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multi-craft maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to work in a team environment while maintaining safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical education/certification preferred.
• 5+ years maintenance experience in a multi-craft environment.
• Electrical and mechanical skills with PLCs/robotics experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including conveyance systems and material handling.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate with vendors as needed to minimize downtime.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and asset care of company property.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

Maintenance technician will be responsible for providing mechanical and electrical support throughout the building to minimize equipment down time. He/she will also provide facilities and grounds maintenance as necessary.

Essential Functions

• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment including conveying systems, pick modules, material handling equipment,ASRS System,etc. per manufacturers recommendations or internal PM schedules
• Troubleshoot,maintainand repair all equipment failures; employing outside vendors, as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain company property and premise as necessary
• Completeappropriate paperworkand audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
• Partner with operations teams to ensure highest level of customer service

Work Environment This job operates in a climate-controlled warehouse setting. This role routinely uses and/or is exposed to material handling and packaging equipment, computers, handheld scanners, etc. Must be able to sit, stand, walk for 8 hours per day. Must be able to lift repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work at elevated heights (120 feet)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during day shift hours. Evening and weekend overtime work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel Limited travel may be required for training activities.

Required Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or equivalent; post high school technical education or certification is preferred. 2. At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a multi-craft environment
