Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a facilities maintenance professional for its Indy North facility in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers full-time, permanent employment with benefits and a shift from 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday, and overtime as needed.

Salary ranges from $27.00/hr to $32.00/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential, reflecting experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k match, PTO, holiday pay, and EAP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in a facilities maintenance position, within a distribution environment.
• Prior knowledge of electrical systems, compressor systems, conveyor systems and components, packing systems, Shanklin wrappers, and dock equipment.
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PM of facility and equipment to identify potential problems
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for compliance and operational improvement
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and foster a culture of safety within the team
• Oversee vendor relationships, work orders, and quality
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues

Pay

$27.00/hr to $32.00/hr (depending on experience) - plus $1.50/hr shift differential
