Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Forklift Operator for the day shift at our Plainfield, IN facility. The role features a 7:00am–3:00pm schedule with overtime and on-demand pay, and requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30+ feet.

New hires enter a 90-day evaluation period to support training and successful integration into the team, with medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, and EAP benefits after the probation period.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience required.
• Ability to work at heights of 30+ feet.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker, stand-up forklift, and walkie stacker.
• Case and full pallet pick – other duties on or off the forklift as assigned.
• Stow product.
• Cycle counts to maintain inventory levels.
• Follow all safety guidelines – safety shoes required.

Forklift Operator | $19.00/hr | Day Shift | On Demand Pay

What You’ll Get:

• $19.00/hr
• On Demand Pay
• Overtime Required

Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday - overtime required including Saturday

Location: 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168
