Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Core Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services across the country. Our focus is on service, quality, and safety, enabling our clients to provide essential services to their patients and guests. The company operates in over 20 states and is a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, based in Miami, FL.

We are seeking talented candidates to join our 2nd Shift Engineering Maintenance Team! Business is booming, and we are hiring immediately for Maintenance Technicians on the 2nd Shift.

• Location: 9905 S. 13th Street, Oak Creek, WI 53154 (online applications only)
• Schedule: Full-time, 4 PM - 12:30 AM. Additional schedule options available; more details during interview.
• Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing troubleshooting environment.
• Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00/hr depending on experience, plus shift differentials.

Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs scheduled and unscheduled daily tasks, maintaining awareness of all equipment during production to ensure efficient operation. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting issues such as jams or missing belts. Technical assistance from engineering may be sought as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Complete maintenance and repairs promptly and effectively, including overhead rail and conveyor systems.
• Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including outside vendors.
• Maintain maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and new issues.
• Notify supervisors about equipment status impacting production or downtime and inform when back online.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be team-oriented, self-motivated, independent, prompt, and communicative.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely, understanding safety procedures such as lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and hot equipment work.
• Good knowledge of machinery, capable of helping repair and maintain mechanical drive, conveyor, and overhead rail systems.
