Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Core Linen Services, a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing across the country, is seeking dedicated candidates to join our 2nd Shift Engineering Maintenance Team. Our focus is on service, quality, and safety, enabling our clients to provide essential services to their patients and guests. We operate in over 20 states and are a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, based in Miami, FL.

Locations: Brookfield, WI; Greendale, WI; Greenfield, WI; Kenosha, WI; Milwaukee, WI; New Berlin, WI; Oak Creek, WI 53154; Racine, WI.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, 4PM - 12:30AM; other schedules available. Details provided during interview.
• Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing troubleshooting environment.
• Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00/hour depending on experience, plus shift differentials.

Job Summary: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, maintain awareness of equipment during operations, and ensure efficient functioning of laundry plant machinery. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting issues like jams, belt problems, and tape issues, seeking technical assistance as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Complete maintenance and repairs efficiently, including overhead rail and conveyor systems.
• Assist technical staff and vendors as needed.
• Maintain maintenance logs and report equipment status impacting production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Team-oriented, self-motivated, independent, prompt, and good communication skills.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely, understanding safety procedures including lockout/tagout, confined space, and hot equipment work.
• Knowledge of machinery, mechanical drive systems, conveyor systems, and overhead rail systems.
