Job summary

Openwork is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Denton, TX. The role covers routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery and facility systems, with a focus on diagnosing issues and implementing safe, effective repairs.

You will read blueprints and manuals, maintain maintenance logs, and follow lockout/tagout procedures. High school diploma required; 1–2 years' experience preferred. Weekly pay and a consistent weekday schedule are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot issues with equipment and determine root causes of mechanical or electrical failures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and inspections.
• Install new equipment or assist in facility upgrades and layout changes.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance logs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Communicate recurring maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and wear required PPE.

Location: Denton, TX 76207

PAY: $26–$28/HR

SHIFT: 2ND SHIFT | 3:30PM-12:00AM | OVERTIME AS REQUIRED

AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
