Job summary

Gusmer Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment and facilities in our manufacturing environment.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems, collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime. The role requires a minimum of 2 years' mechanical, electrical, or automation experience in industrial settings, with CMMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, or automation in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems to minimize production downtime.
• Maintains and services building systems including electrical (480V 3‑phase), HVAC, plumbing, and general facility infrastructure.
• Completes scheduled preventive maintenance activities and accurately documents work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Collaborates with production and maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues and support efficient shift handoffs.
• Identifies causes of downtime and recommends repairs or process improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Follows OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety standards; maintains clean and organized work areas using 5S principles.
