Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift at the White Bear Lake, MN facility. The role focuses on maintaining automated manufacturing equipment to minimize production losses, reporting to the site Maintenance Supervisor.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment performance, collaborating with operations and engineering teams to ensure safety and reliability. The job requires strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills with CMMS experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of directly related work experience OR technical degree/certification.
Must have PLC knowledge and be able to troubleshoot; willingness to upgrade skills.
Certificate or Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Controls/Robotics/Electronics, Electromechanical Technology.
Associate degree or Apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance Technology.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance troubleshooting in designated area (Pleating equipment, hot-melt machines or automated assembly/testing equipment).
Collaborate with operations and engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve equipment performance.
Interface with vendors/contractors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Work with CMMS software to record maintenance activities and history.
Promote shop safety and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
Train maintenance personnel when needed and work with high voltage safely.
