Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in Rosemount, MN. This on-site, permanent role focuses on keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently, with on-call coverage across shifts.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, motors, VFDs, and sensors; performing preventive maintenance; maintaining facilities; ordering parts; and supporting safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational degree or certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Welding, electrical, and mechanical experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLCs or computerized batching systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and NEC codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including robotics, electrical, mechanical, welding, pneumatic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, motors, VFDs, and sensors.
• Perform daily, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance checklists.
• Maintain the facility, including building systems, doors, docks, lighting, plumbing, heating, and HVAC filters.
• Use hand and power tools, and identify and order replacement parts using machine manuals.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, guarding, confined space, respirator, and fall protection.
• Help develop and verify standard operating procedures and improve efficiency and productivity.
• Keep the work area, tool station, and parts room clean and organized.
• Provide backup to production, warehouse, and shipping staff as needed.
