About the Opportunity

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate Range: $58,240-$79,040 per year
Location: Plymouth, MN
Schedule: 1st Shift Mon‑Fri 7 AM‑3 PM with optional overtime
Position Type: Direct Hire

Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools and welding tools, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices
• Ability to inspect material for quality conformance using measuring devices and drawings
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to read manufacturing equipment drawings and electrical and plumbing schematics
• 2+ years of related maintenance experience
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Able to stand for an entire shift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Physically perform highly diversified duties to maintain, repair, and improve machinery, equipment and warehouse facility safely and timely
• Work mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Participate in troubleshooting and maintenance of production and warehouse assets
• Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts
• Detect faulty operations and defective material and report to supervision
• Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
• Maintain daily log of completed tasks
• Report all maintenance issues promptly to supervision
• Explain company’s Quality Policy and how this role impacts customer satisfaction
• Conduct housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space
• Participate in scheduled training and educational programs
• Participate in independent objective auditing activity and continuous improvement
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on machines and equipment as required
• Use related production documents as required by position and/or procedures
• Use calculator, conversion charts, basic math to calculate sizes, weights, metric conversions
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
