Job Details

Experienced Pharmacy Technicians in Operations may hold various duties to ensure ExactCare’s patients receive quality care out of their pharmacy services. Job duties will include multiple tasks daily such as phone work, navigating multiple pharmacy software systems, and supporting the various stages of patient care while working efficiently to understand the department’s collective goals. These areas of responsibility will fluctuate based on organizational needs, allowing the Pharmacy Technician to develop multiple skill sets. This is an office (or remote) based, cubicle environment, allowing the Pharmacy Technician to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Review account billing for accuracy and communicate changes accordingly with patients
• Coordinate patient profiles with appropriate pharmacy support and services
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience each day in a phone-based environment
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties such as prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks
• Work through current case queues to problem solve for patient care issues
• Patient outreach to collect payments and coordinate payment plans
• Serve as a liaison between the clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on patient’s behalf
• Maintain patient records with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Accurately retrieve all prescription information and verify through doctor calls
• Perform in a high volume, fast-paced environment to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base
• Other tasks as required

• Ability to work Monday through Friday 9am until 5:30pm

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• High school diploma/GED
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy
• Ability to sit at a desk 90% of the time
