Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Buffalo, NY to provide mechanical and electrical support for our Pirson manufacturing facility. You will report to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager and play a key role in safety, quality, and production through preventative and corrective maintenance and documentation.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing industrial maintenance with strong mechanical and electrical skills, including welding, hydraulics, HVAC basics, and LOTO

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing industrial maintenance experience
• Ability to safely repair mechanical and electrical systems in a plant environment
• Certifications in maintenance or safety are a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and repair process and facility mechanical and electrical systems
• Utilize CMMS to generate and close work orders
• Perform preventative maintenance and generate related documentation
• Respond to production requests for maintenance and support safety and quality objectives
