Alkegen in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical and electrical support at the Pirson manufacturing facility. The role is essential for safety, quality and production, relying on preventative and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities include repairing process equipment, operating tools and PPE, generating work orders in CMMS, performing reactive maintenance promptly, maintaining logs and equipment history, and supporting PM activities.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent with trades concentration
• 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Experience with mechanical and electrical repair of process equipment
• Welding, cutting, rigging, pneumatics, pipe fitting
• NFPA 70E training or equivalent is a plus
• OSHA 10/30 credentials are desirable

Responsabilidades

• Safely maintain and repair process and facility mechanical and electrical systems
• Safely use power tools, hand tools and PPE
• Capable of safely operating a forklift or aerial lift
• Generate and complete work orders in CMMS
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and communicate progress to management
• Maintain logs and equipment history folders and manuals
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document results
• Generate corrective work orders based on PM findings and safety inspections
• Support safety, quality and production needs including on-call/off-shift availability
