Job summary

CCH is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support Flower Park Plaza in Santa Ana, CA. The role covers day-to-day custodial duties and maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas to ensure safe, sanitary housing for residents.

This full-time, on-site position requires flexibility for unplanned events, strong reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reporting to the Community Manager, you will work with the property team to uphold safety standards and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to operate basic cleaning and maintenance tools.
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day custodial duties at the assigned community.
• Maintain indoor and outdoor areas including sidewalks and restrooms.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them.
• Assist in basic maintenance tasks and repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with Property Management to ensure safe, sanitary housing.

We are more than a job for employees.**Job Summary:**A Maintenance Technician I oversees the day-to-day custodial duties of an assigned Community. The Maintenance Technician may support in maintaining both indoors and outdoors. Flexibility to adapt to unplanned events, while remaining resourceful and efficient is imperative. Works in coordination with the Property Management team to ensure the maintenance teams deliver safe, appropriate and sanitary housing to all our residents**Key Responsibilities*** Contribute to caring and positive working and living environments for all employees and residents* Assist in enforcing safety regulations by identifying and reporting and/or correcting safety hazards.* Maintain common areas by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, cleaning, waxing, replacing light bulbs, etc.* Maintain sidewalks, walkways, outdoor areas, and garage/parking areas clean and free of debris* Clean and resupply public and employee restrooms.* Notify supervisor of items that need repair or replacement, and as required by supervisor, may also assist with routine maintenance work such as repair and replacement May be called upon by supervisor to assist with routine maintenance work repair/replacement as needed.* Perform preventative maintenance such as window-washing (within reach, not to go up a ladder more than 10 feet) and carpet cleaning, etc, on a regular schedule.* Move common space furniture, supplies, and equipment.* Maintain clean and presentable custodial supply area* Actively track usage of custodial supplies and convey that information to your supervisor.* Regularly attends staff meetings and assigned trainings* Other duties as assigned.**Reporting + Organizational Relationships** This position will report directly to the Community Manager and does not have any supervisory responsibilities. **Compensation & Classification** CCH is committed to paying competitive wages. The salary range for this position is $21.96 - $26.05/hourly in California and $18.67 - $24.68/hourly outside of California. Based on CCH’s compensation philosophy, the majority of new hires are brought in at the minimum of the salary range.
