Job Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Walworth, WI 53184

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hr

Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining a safe work environment. Bilingual candidates are preferred for enhanced communication in a diverse workplace.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform general machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
2. Follow lockout/tagout procedures to ensure workplace safety.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance and manage routine equipment inspections.
4. Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems for repairs and adjustments.
5. Operate equipment such as the Genie Lift for maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements

1. Bilingual (Preferred) – Strong communication skills in English and another language.
2. Prior maintenance experience with knowledge of machine operations and troubleshooting.
3. Understanding of hydraulics, electricity, and pneumatics for equipment repair.
4. Ability to follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and preventive maintenance protocols.
5. High school diploma or vocational training preferred; must be able to lift and maneuver equipment as required.
