Job summary

Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing client in Waterloo, IN. The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex machinery to minimize downtime.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, interpret schematics, install and commission new equipment, and maintain accurate records using CMMS software. Prior industrial maintenance experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; tech/vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience maintaining and repairing conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and automated equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Use CMMS to complete work orders and track maintenance records; participate in upgrades and continuous improvement.
