Job summary

Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a Columbus, IN client to maintain and improve production equipment reliability.

The role pays $25–$30 per hour and requires day-to-day hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing setting. You will perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, read schematics and blueprints, and support installations and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiar with PLC troubleshooting and CMMS software; welding/fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
