Job summary

LR Management in Michigan is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician with apartment maintenance experience to join our team. You will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and interact with residents to address service requests.

Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and inspections. A valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexible availability including weekends are required. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests promptly.
• Carpentry, plumbing and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Conducting move in/move out inspections.
• Ensuring inventory levels for required parts.
• Keeping the service shop clean and organized.
• Maintaining indoor common areas and exterior grounds including snow removal.
• Adhering to fair housing policies.

LR Management is looking for a dependable and hard-working individual with previous apartment maintenance experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be a team player, have a positive attitude along with being self-motivated and self-directed.

Our maintenance staff are key members of our property team who interact with our residents as they carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance which includes HVAC repair, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.

• Assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the property's indoor common areas
• Maintaining well-groomed grounds and building exteriors including, but not limited, to trash pickup and snow removal
• Adhering to established policies related to fair housing
