Job Description

MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join our MGS Germantown team. The current opening has flexible hours, but must be willing to work a 12-hour shift on the 2-2-3 rotation.

As a Maintenance Technician at MGS, you perform the preventative maintenance plan for equipment including preparing, setting-up, and recalibrating molding equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as a role model for safe work practices and behavior, conducting yourself professionally with safety in mind.
• Learn and master all necessary areas of the quality system.
• Follow GMP and GDP standards.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on production and support equipment.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules for molding equipment.
• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Re-calibrate molding machinery per maintenance plan.
• Complete maintenance issues and document each assignment.
• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs during production.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Work independently and accept direction on tasks.
• Resolve auxiliary equipment issues as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year technical college or a four-year university program in a related field, with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems and safety issues.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical prints.
• Basic knowledge of ladder logic or PLC programming.
• Adherence to safety standards.
