BG Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a residential property in Indianapolis, IN. Pay is $21/hour with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Start date ASAP; contract or contract-to-hire opportunity. Responsibilities include general maintenance, troubleshooting, and preparing apartments for move-in. Qualified candidates have a Certified Maintenance Technician designation or equivalent experience, and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.

Qualifications

• Certified Maintenance Technician designation or equivalent experience.
• Previous apartment or property maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare apartments for move-in (turns).
• Complete work orders professionally and timely.
• Ensure safety standards and property policies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and common-area upkeep.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the shop.

BG Staffing is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a residential property located in Indianapolis, IN. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking for steady weekday hours with the potential to transition into a long-term role.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
• Prepare apartments for move-in (turns and make-readies)
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and property policies
• Assist with preventative maintenance and upkeep of common areas
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance shop organization

Additional Notes: MUST have valid driver's license
