Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

1. Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical work. Install new appliances as needed.
2. Complete resident service requests promptly and efficiently.
3. Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to ensure a clean and attractive curb appeal at all times.
4. Comply with OSHA regulations and all health, safety, and environmental laws.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The qualifications for the Maintenance Technician position are:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in HVAC systems; HVAC certification is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies on-call.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for this role.
