Job summary

Banyan Living is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to support our luxury apartment properties in Stow, Ohio. This role keeps our residents safe, comfortable, and satisfied by performing routine maintenance and swift repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.

You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to resident requests, document activities, and coordinate with the property team to keep standards high.

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma; technical certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.

• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and track inventory.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will use your technical skills and expertise to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, conduct repairs, and perform preventative maintenance across our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.

• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
