Banyan Living offers luxury apartment living in the greater Cleveland and Columbus areas and seeks an Experienced Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.

You will perform routine inspections, repair plumbing/electrical/HVAC, and prepare units for new tenants while keeping thorough maintenance records and coordinating with the property management team. On-call duties and safety come first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• On-call availability for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and provide customer service.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will use your technical skills and expertise to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, conduct repairs, and perform preventative maintenance across our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
