Banyan Living, LLC is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician for our luxury apartment communities in Ohio. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, tackling repairs, and addressing resident requests to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

You will work with a property management team, ensuring high standards and timely responses. Candidates should have 1+ years in maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform maintenance tasks.
• Availability for on‑call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

This vital role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of property management, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will use your technical skills and expertise to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, conduct repairs, and perform preventative maintenance across our properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times
