Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team and uphold our high standards of property management. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and ensure occupied and vacant units are well-maintained.

You'll collaborate with the property management team, respond to resident requests promptly, and follow safety protocols while maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repair work.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
