Job summary

Rinker Materials in Stacy, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our plant. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair a range of equipment while working on tall structures with safety gear. A technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with 1+ years in manufacturing and strong mechanical/electrical skills. We value teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• One+ years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with large machine operation and infrastructure construction.
• Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and databases.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, switches, and valves.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed.
• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving maintenance issues promptly.
• Position requires working on tall structures using a manlift, ladders and safety harnesses.

We are looking for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our STACY, MN plant. As a Maintenance Technician with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

About You

• Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience. One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.
• Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
• Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.
• Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals. Diagnostic problem solving techniques. Detail orientation.
• Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems.
• Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication.
• Must have a valid drivers’ license.
