Rinker Materials in MENOKEN, ND is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our plant. You will maintain and repair equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and support safe, efficient plant operations.

The role requires hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, ability to read plans, operate across systems, and work at heights with proper safety gear. Join a team focused on excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of large machine operation and infrastructure construction.
• Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
• Ability to give clear verbal instructions and listen to others.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook; databases).
• Ability to read plans/blueprints and follow procedures.
• Good diagnostic problem solving, math and mechanical abilities.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and dedication.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, switches and valves.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed.
• Install, maintain, and repair low and high voltage electrical systems.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects and keep operations efficient.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Work on tall structures using a manlift, ladders and safety harnesses.

About the Role:

About You

We Require:

• Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience. One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.
• Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
• Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.
• Ability to read and apply information fromplans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals. Diagnostic problem solving techniques. Detail orientation.
• Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems.
• Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication.
• Must have a valid drivers’ license.
