Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repair tasks commonly found in multi‑family properties.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift or pull over 25 lbs repeatedly.
• Willingness to respond to after‑hours emergencies as needed.
• Valid driver's license required for property access and emergencies.
• Proficient with basic hand tools; knowledge of property management systems is a plus.
• Experience in painting, plumbing and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Reliable transportation to move between units and sites.
• HVAC certification or HVAC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance repair requests in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Prepare units for new resident move-ins by completing repairs and ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Deliver superior customer service to residents and coordinate with property staff as needed.
• Assist maintenance team with daily tasks and larger projects as required.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring customer fulfillment by responding to maintenance repair requests in a timely manner and preparing vacant units in preparation for new resident move-ins. The Maintenance Technician is an essential team member for Cohen-Esrey to deliver superior customer service to our residents.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Experience
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs repeatedly
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic tools required, to include personal smart phone technology.
• Knowledge of property management systems and processes
• Painting, plumbing, and electrical experience
• Reliable transportation with access to a vehicle suitable for safely transporting ladders & other maintenance equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Certified
• Proven 1 year of HVAC experience

Compensation*

$24 - $28
*Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
