Job summary

Cohen-Esrey Communities, LLC. is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician at Bluejacket Lodge in Shawnee, KS. The role supports residents by responding to maintenance requests and preparing vacant units for move-ins.

The position offers up to 30 hours per week with compensation of $18–$20 per hour. A valid driver’s license, basic tools, and willingness to handle after-hours emergencies are required. Paid time off and holidays are included.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring customer fulfillment by responding to maintenance repair requests in a timely manner and preparing vacant units in preparation for new resident move-ins. The Maintenance Technician is an essential team member for Cohen-Esrey to deliver superior customer service to our residents.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Experience
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs repeatedly
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic tools required, to include personal smart phone technology.
• Knowledge of property management systems and processes
• Painting, plumbing, and electrical experience
• Reliable transportation with access to a vehicle suitable for safely transporting ladders & other maintenance equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Certified
• Proven 1 year of HVAC experience

Compensation*

$18 - $20
*Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
