Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Technician in St Paul, MN to perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment. You will read schematics and manuals, document repairs, and support installation of new equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to diagnose and prevent downtime. Shift is 6pm–6am on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with lubrication, cleaning, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and take corrective action to prevent downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Ensure all repairs are documented.Document all required information in accordance with standard operations procedures
• Assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime
• Support the installation of new equipment

What's Needed?

• 2 to 4 years of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience on a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Able to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and take appropriate corrective action to prevent component failures or equipment down time
